I haven't posted here in awhile.
How quite.
Learned some CSS. Maybe I'll change this up a bit.
Then, maybe I won't.
Ah well.

Hmm. I don't like Scientology, Sam I am...
Its a weird feeling when you realize that you are biased agianst a certain religion. Me, I think I'm fairly tolerant of religions and belief systems; or I'd at least think I am, considering the extreme views sometimes expressed by both my peers and extended family. I've spent a great deal of my life reading and studying religions and religious beliefs.
Yet. I cannot abide the sham that is called scientology.
Maybe some celebrities set me off or maybe it was a quick read of the 'aims of scientology'. In the end, I found myself angry that such a... thing exists at all.
Despite my neo-con beliefs, I like Islam and have a bit of advocacy in me toward the Catholic Church; I was born to a protestant family and my father is a Mormon. I dedicate myself to no real religion- seeing myself as a non-denominational Christian. Hell, I've found myself agreeing with Buddha every now and then.
But Scientology, when read properly, doesn't pan out. I don't know why; its either very simple logic or common sense. All I know is, the system of scientology seems whack. Way, way whack.
Or to speak properly, 'false'. I disagree with a view point that sees a certain medical field as a danger to society. Most real religions don't do that sort of thing. Rather they have taboos, but Psychiatry itself is rather well-accepted by religions, often used to augment treatment, thus garnering the sick and harmed greater relief.
I wish I could apologize for my words, but then again I don't see that as a solution. Too many apologies are let loose these days and I believe what have said. Those who dissagree with me can go read something else.
